I love this place. The beef ribs are amazing. Huge portions. The brisket and tater tots are the best. The cocktails are really pretty and taste fabulous. I will always come back.

My brother & I came here for the 1st time on Saturday found the staff friendly and helpful when we asked questions about the food on the menu,when it came out it was cooked very well and very flavoursome, will definitely be back even though we don't live local.

My partner and I have only heard brilliant things about this very unique and quirky restaurant, And we were not let down in the slightest! Our date night was such a fun and memorable night, Which was most definitely because of the food and atmosphere, definitely returning for one of our next date nights. AND BEST FRIES IN THE UK! Which go with any of the drinks to choose from, BUT definitely mix and match with the cocktails, everything just works together,. And, all the staff are wonderful, happy and smiles all round which makes the whole restaurant experience absolutely wonderful

Almost ate at a pub restaurant around the corner, but was uninspired by the menu. I'm so glad we found The Smoke Pit instead. We loved the atmosphere of the place. Queens of the Stone Age was playing on the PA and our server was nice and friendly. Great options on the menu. Food came quickly, and tasted fantastic. The rump steak was up there with the best steaks I've ever tasted. I don't go to Northampton very often, next time I will 100% be visiting the Smoke Pit again.

The food here was AMAZING! Sure it can be a bit pricey but for the amount if food you get it does make up for it! Would recommend for sure!

In terms of décor its a nice style but the rest is very average at best. Service was a let down as once we seated we was asked for drinks but then walked off before we got the chance to ask for food too. Asked for the bill but instead of getting it I had to go up and ask to pay as they was too busy chatting after waiting 10/15 minutes for the bill. Not terrible service but needs to improved. Food was the biggest let down as we decided to get a sharing platter and lets just say for £70 your not going to get your moneys worth sadly. Small portions on all meats and not very tasty either. Some had little to no flavour and I felt like we had been ripped off in terms of food quantity and quality. Seems overhyped or as of recently its changed completely. The cocktails were surprisingly nice on the other hand. Don't expect to get your moneys worth but for a drink its a nice place to go if met with a good service.

The pork belly bits with Korean BBQ sauce and chill cheese dog were brilliant! Didn't have chance to explore the drinks menu but will be making a visit again soon! Thank you team!

Decent food, rude staff. When we arrived we were ignored for 10 minutes whilst the man who works on the front desk was having a catch up with a friend. When his friend left to continue with his day, the man coldy walked us to our table and the experience got no better from that. We have been a few times as the food is decent, however due to the customer service from this same man on front desk, we won't be returning or recommending, which is a shame.

I came here with my boyfriend for a valentines day treat we got served by a lovely gentleman called nathaniel and was also greeted by a lovely lady called gemma when we entered the building, we came here with empty bellies but left feeling stuffed and ready to burst nathaniel did offer us desserts but we didn't have any room left I'm sure the desserts would of been equally as nice as the food we had on the day would highly recommend this place for a meal out or for a spot of lunch with friends

It's my go to place for BBQ food the portions are generous, unsurprisingly meat is the Star of the show here with delicious smoked options on offers the burgers are fantastic the home made BBQ sauce is some of my favorite as is there bone marrow gravy.

Friendly staff from arrival. Food and drinks were nice. I had the 'rubber duckie' cocktail, without the duck (unlike I had seen in other reviews that had one). Decor is different but fits with the theme. Good choice in food and drinks. The menu can be a little confusing to read with the text and price not separated. Would return again to try something else on the menu too.

I love BBQ and I can honestly say this is the best I’ve had in the uk. We had the ribs which were spoked perfectly and had a solid bite. The beef short rib was melt in the mouth. The sauces were full of flavour. On top of the the milkshake were solid too.

The portions are very generous, I suppose you get what you pay for as the food is priced accordingly. If you like food with a lot of smokiness, this place is great. I wish the food came with at least a small salad to balance out the amount of meat. At the same time I don't expect there to be veggies as that's not what this place is necessarily for, just a personal preference. The atmosphere was good and the decor unique and fun.
